Solutions for developing smart cities and industrial parks in the southern province of Binh Duong were announced at a ceremony jointly organised by the provincial People’s Committee, Becamex IDC, and Japanese telecommunications company Nippon Telegraph and Telephone (NTT) on June 9.
At the event, Vietnam Technology and Telecommunication JSC (VNTT) – a subsidiary of Becamex IDC – signed a strategic collaboration agreement with NTT Data of NTT Group to deploy solutions for developing smart city and industrial parks in Binh Duong.
The collaboration aims to support businesses in Binh Duong to master comprehensive and sustainable smart city technologies and solutions, thus upgrading and modernising the infrastructure of urban areas, industrial parks, and factories in the locality.
VNTT and Becamex IDC also inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on transforming Becamex IDC’s industrial parks into smart ones, towards developing a sustainable and green industrial ecosystem.
Under the MoU, Becamex IDC’s industrial park system will be applied with solutions of smart wastewater treatment, smart security camera, smart lighting, and many other utilities, which will be controlled and monitored at the Becamex Smart Operation Centre in Binh Duong New City.
