The Government chief made the statement on Monday while addressing the annual Viet Nam Business Forum (VBF) themed “Businesses Partnering with the Government for a Green Transition in the Digital Era.”

He reiterated the Government’s commitment to improving the business environment by speeding up administration reform and digital transformation, streamlining administrative procedures, building a digital Government, digital economy, and digital society.

Viet Nam will also focus on developing green and digital infrastructure, particularly logistics infrastructure, big data, and clean energy; training high-quality workforce for high-quality FDI projects, said Pham.

He called on FDI enterprises to expand investments in Viet Nam, step up partnership with Vietnamese businesses and team up with the Government in building institutional framework and modernizing governance.

The Prime Minister also called on the business community to further enhance social responsibility, particularly for environmental issues and green growth.

First launched in 1997, VBF is an on-going policy dialogue channel between the Government of Viet Nam and business community towards a favorable business environment./.
